Roots & Resilience is a holistic wellness experience that combines the grounding power of the outdoors with the restorative practices of yoga and Pilates. Through guided nature walks and mind-body exercises, participants are invited to reconnect with themselves, their community, and the land.

Hiking with Khay
Each session begins with a mindful walk or guided hike, designed to encourage reflection, movement, and cultural connection. Participants will:

  • Explore trails that foster grounding and presence

  • Build resilience through physical movement in nature

  • Share meaningful moments of connection with peers and community

Centered Flow
Participants engage in a gentle mind-body wellness practice session of yoga or Pilates. This portion of the program focuses on cultivating balance, strength, and inner calm. Activities include:

  • Accessible movement and stretching to release tension and increase flexibility

  • Breathwork practices to regulate stress and strengthen focus

  • Guided mindfulness and meditation to deepen self-awareness and resilience
